Eurythmy as a Path of Development

Choosing to study eurythmy is to embark on a path of continuous self-development and new insights. It is seeking to move through the boundaries that limit their capacities and vision, for those who are ready to take hold of the challenges and rigor that allow this potential to become real.

Eurythmy was developed to express the movement signatures that form the world and our experience of it. It embodies and brings into everyday life those formative gestures that underlie growth, healing, and change. Eurythmy spans -- and unites -- the invisible realities of being and everyday practical life.

As broad as eurythmy is in its scope, so is the profile of those who embark on this journey at the School of Eurythmy. In recent years we have welcomed students from the United States, India, China, Japan, and Germany. Some are fresh out of college, others bring extensive life experience and a desire to embark on a new professional direction. Former vocations of our students have included farmer, teacher, artist, scientist, and caregiver. All our students have in common a desire to transform their ideals into actions that will contribute to the deepening of life.
